The Brand Checkup
Sixty minutes with both founders. Then a written report that tells you what’s working, what’s broken, what the gap is costing you, and the three fixes that matter most, in order. $750. The report is yours no matter what you decide to do next.
Most owners we talk to already suspect the problem. The work inside the business is good. The way it shows up on the outside hasn’t kept pace. The website undersells. The logo was right for year one, not year six. Things look different everywhere they appear.
The Brand Checkup puts that suspicion in writing. Not a pitch dressed up as advice. A document you can hand to your team, another studio, or us, and act on the next morning.
Both founders, on the same call. Kay runs the business end: positioning, market, what your brand is doing to your pipeline. Taz runs the art end: the logo, the look, the gap between how your work feels and how it reads. You won’t be passed to anyone, because there’s no one to pass you to.
What’s working, what’s broken, and what the gap is costing you in customers. Plain language, specific findings, no padding. Short enough to read over one coffee, specific enough to argue about.
By impact and by effort, in the order we’d tackle them if this were our own business. Not a list of twenty things to feel guilty about. Three moves, prioritized.
A range, not a quote, so you can plan with real numbers instead of guessing what “rebrand” means in dollars.
The report is built to stand on its own. Act on it with any studio you like. If that studio turns out to be us, your $750 comes off the project price. More on that below.
You run an independent business, and you run it well. You’re also the kind of owner who notices things: the proposal that doesn’t look as sharp as the work behind it, the website you hesitate to send people to, the logo that fit the business you had, not the one you have.
None of that happened because you made bad calls. It happened because you were busy building the business, which is exactly the right thing to have been busy with. Brands fall behind growing companies all the time. The Checkup tells you precisely where yours stands and what closing the gap would take.
Most of the businesses we talk to are within a short drive of Noblesville. Yours doesn’t have to be.
Say the word and we send a single $750 invoice, paid up front. That’s the whole transaction, no deposit math, no milestones to track.
Before we dial in, we spend time with how your business shows up in the world, so the hour is spent on your answers, not your URL.
Sixty minutes, both of us, working questions. Bring honest answers; that’s the only prep that matters.
Lands in your inbox within 10 working days of the call. Read it, argue with it, share it.
Fix things in-house, hire another studio, hire us, or sit with it for a while. All four are legitimate outcomes, and we’ll say so in the report.
The price
That’s the whole number. No tiers, no add-ons, no “starting from.”
And it converts: hire us within 90 days for any project over $5,000 and the full $750 is credited toward it. If the Checkup leads to work, it was free. If it doesn’t, you own the clearest read on your brand you’ve ever had, for less than most businesses spend on a trade show banner.
No, and it’s built so it can’t be. The report is the product. Every finding and recommendation is written to be usable with any studio, your own team included. We’d rather you act on it without us than not act on it at all.
Whatever you decide. Some owners fix the quick items themselves. Some take the report to a studio they already know. Some come back to us, usually starting with whichever recommendation we ranked first. If you do come back within 90 days for a project over $5,000, your $750 comes off the price. Either way, the next move is yours; we don’t run follow-up sequences and we won’t chase you.
Sixty minutes and straight answers. The Checkup is only as honest as the conversation that feeds it.
Then the report says so, tells you what to protect, and flags the one or two things worth watching. An honest read cuts both ways. “Don’t spend money on this yet” is a finding we’re happy to deliver.
Free brand audits exist to sell you something, which is why they all reach the same conclusion. Paid ones exist to tell you the truth. $750 is low enough that you can decide without a committee and high enough that we owe you real work for it.
It’s our calendar you’re booking, not a sales team’s. Two founders, one call, one honest document.
Or, if you’d rather size us up first, email Kay directly: kay@tnk.studio. He reads everything himself. There’s nobody else it could go to.
